2019 Save the Grape Release
GRAPES: 100% Pinot Noir
REGION: Willamette Valley AVA, Oregon
QTY PRODUCED: 300 Cases
VOL: 1.5L (the equivalent of 2 x bottles)
As the saying goes, “a struggling vine, makes the best wine”— and this Pinot Noir from Oregon’s prized Willamette Valley is no different. Due to a glut of wine in 2019, these grapes were almost left to die on the vine until hundreds of wine lovers chipped in to "Save the Grape".
The result? An exceptional 2019 vintage. Unlike years prior, which endured above-average heat, 2019 experienced nail-biting rainy cold fronts with bursts of sun. While this may sound terrible - cooler temps allowed this Pinot Noir to accumulate complex elegant flavors and aromas.
We hope you enjoy this wine as much as we enjoyed making it happen!

Really enjoyed Maivino wine the past 2 times. Maivino wine tastes as good as a good quality bottled wine. Will try and order more!
Who knew you could get an excellent Willamette Pinot in the 1.5L format at this price point!? I hope they keep saving grapes.
I'm a big red wine drinker, but I'm usually not a fan of "box" or "pouch" red wine because it never tastes as good as from the bottle for some reason to me. I gave this one a try because I was curious after trying the sav blanc and rose and liking them. I was very surprised— it's a great, light pinot noir that I would drink anytime!
This wine is incredible! We recently moved back east from Oregon and the Willamette Valley Pinot Noir made us feel like we were right back at Stoller Vineyards in Dundee, drinking wine and relaxing in the sun without a care in the world... but alas, we were still in our living room in Florida watching our third episode in a row of Dino Trux (mom life). I will keep reordering this wine for as long as it’s available and can’t wait to see what else Maivino has to offer in the future!
Will definitely be sure to always have a couple Maivino pouches ready to go! Highly recommend!!
